Canapés
We are well-known for our canapé offering, for funerals and other events. Organized Essex offers hot and cold options, and our friendly staff are on-hand to serve you and your guests until you're all full! Listed is a selection of our most popular options, although we offer many more (and are able to cater for all dietary requirements).
Minature Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding
Served with a horseradish crème fraîche
Mushroom Arancini
Served with a lightly spicy Arrabiata sauce (V)

Banqueting
Two to four courses served by our friendly staff, to make your event elegant and memorable! We have a range of menu options available, and are happy to discuss other options to suit your event. Listed are some examples, but this is not exhaustive! Many options can be made gluten or dairy free on request.
Starters
Soup (multiple options); Caesar salad with crispy bacon and sourdough croutons; Smoked salmon and green bean vinaigrette (GF) (DF); Smoked mackerel pate with pickled cucumbers (GF). All served with homemade bread rolls and butter.
Main Courses
Chicken in a creamy tarragon sauce; Lightly spiced slow-roasted pork with crackling (GF) (DF); Slow-cooked lamb with rosemary, thyme and garlic (GF) (DF); Red onion tarte tatin (V); Mushroom risotto (V) (GF). All served with seasonal vegetables and potatoes or rice.
Desserts
Pina Colada meringue roulade (GF); Lemon tart; Baked cheesecake (multiple options); Homemade chocolate brownie & ice cream; Almond-topped choux bun filled with strawberries and cream. All Vegetarian.
Cheese & Biscuits
A selection of cheeses including Cheddar, Brie and Stilton, served with grapes, celery, dates, crackers and a homemade walnut bread. Gluten free options available.
Afternoon Tea
Our first afternoon tea was perfected in 2012 for my eldest niece's wedding for 140 people - a baptism of fire, considering that I was also a guest! We have now replicated this so many times that we've lost count, and it remains one of our most popular choices. The options listed are not exhaustive - please contact us for a full list. Dietary requirements can be catered for on request.
Finger Sandwiches
Roast Beef & Horseradish; Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese; Ham & Mustard; Cheese & Chutney (V); Cucumber (V); Chicken Caesar; Curried Egg. On white, seeded or granary bread. Other flavours available. Four choices per order.
Scones
Homemade plain scones, served with a raspberry or strawberry conserve and clotted cream. One scone per person.
Cakes
Fruit Cake; Lemon Drizzle; Victoria Sponge Cupcake; Chocolate Brownie; Coffee & Walnut; Sticky Gingerbread; Chocolate Eclair; Custard Tart; Fruit Cream Puffs; Strawberry Meringues. All individually baked, not slices. All Vegetarian. Four choices per order.
Enhanced Option
An additional two pinwheel sandwiches; sausage rolls; sultana or cheese scones; and an additional cake choice. Extra charges apply.
Buffets
Hot and cold options available, as well as served or self-service. This list is not exhaustive.
Hot Food
Mexican, Indian, Italian and British menus available; other cuisines are available on request.
Cold Food
Wraps, sausage rolls, pasties, quiches, salads, dips, breads, cakes etc.
Lunches
Similar to our cold buffet option, our lunches are perfect for offices or corporate meetings. We offer delivery or collection, and a range of options to suit all dietary requirements. Listed options are not exhaustive.
Filled Wraps
Coronation Chicken; Egg & Watercress (V); Poached Salmon & Dill Mayonnaise; Cheese & Coleslaw (V); Hummus & Falafel (Vg); Potato Salad (V); Roast Beef & Horseradish; Sweet Chilli Chicken; Tuna Mayonnaise & Cucumber. Gluten free, dairy free and vegan options available on request.
Hot Sausage or Cheese & Onion Rolls
Freshly baked and made with local Humphrey & Sons sausagemeat (my husband claims there is nothing better)! Our Cheese & Onion rolls are handmade with Cheddar and herbs.
Fruit Kebabs
A selection of fresh fruits on a skewer.
Chocolate Brownies & Traybakes
Our famous chocolate brownies or one of our traybakes: Coffee & Walnut; Vanilla with Glacé icing (sprinkles available!); Lemon Drizzle; Carrot with Cream Cheese frosting; Chocolate with Chocolate icing. Gluten and dairy free, plus Vegan options available.

Yes! We can deliver and provide food service, at an extra cost. Depending on what catering option you have chosen, you can also collect from us for free.
Yes! For a small fee, we can provide both of these items. Included in the service is all laundering of linens and washing of crockery. Alternatively, you can provide your own, although we provide everything we will need to serve (i.e. chafing dishes, serving platters) ourselves.
Yes! We are happy to discuss any dietary requirements you might have, and are able to cater to them.
